Thimphu is renowned for its picturesque landscapes, adorned with fluttering flags and ancient monasteries, and cherished for its pristine ecology and traditional lifestyle. After settling in, embark on sightseeing activities including a visit to the National Library with its impressive collection of Buddhist manuscripts, and Trashichhoedzong, a grand edifice housing the throne room and administrative offices.

    After breakfast, depart for Paro, often regarded as the gateway to the Himalayan kingdom. Upon arrival, enjoy lunch at a local eatery and then proceed for sightseeing. Visit the National Museum of Paro, housed in a renovated Ta-dzong building, followed by a visit to Paro Dzong, a magnificent fortress representing a pinnacle of Bhutanese architecture.

    After breakfast, embark on a hike to the iconic Taktsang Monastery, famously known as
    Tiger’s Nest. Legend has it that Guru Rinpoche meditated here after arriving on the back of a tigress. The monastery perched on a cliff offers spectacular views. The hike takes
    approximately 2 hours, with an option to ride a horse part of the way.
